Literally, I am tired as I sit down to type a little tonight. I'm also tired of quite a bit of things
this cool October night. Here in South Texas its a beautiful starry night about 51 degrees at most.
A friend said that they didn't like Sarah Palin and I thought to myself "how can someone not
like someone they've never met?". I'm guilty of the same lapse in speaking or judgement or
whatever. I've caught myself saying I don't like Barack Obama but I must say I probably
would like him if I ever got the chance to meet him. What I don't like is his rhetoric and
accusations and his sauntering through what seems to be an effortless campaign into the
highest office in pretty much the world with the help of the media who have conveniently
downplayed every major blip in his run. I know McCain does his share of accusing but all
I've heard is accusations of inexperience and naivety which I agree with. Throw in a few
more for cavorting with terrorists and paying Acorn to register voters and well you've got
a mix of accusations that at last check were all true.
What about Acorn? Well as far as I can read and decipher this organization is as crooked as
a dog's hind leg. This organization went so far as to go to bankers homes to pressure them to
approve high risk loans back when the seeds were sown for the crisis we're now enduring. They
had many tactics used to accomplish their goal of providing housing to people who did not
have the ability to pay for them. Okay so let me get this straight FHA, first time buyer
government loans, Section 8, and probably many more programs out there for low income
families and yet that wasn't good enough? They wanted a conventional mortgage on a house
they couldn't afford and they had a bully in acorn to get it done for them.
Now many states have found fraudulous registration applications turned in by Acorn. Barack
Obama's campaign paid Acorn $800,000 to register voters and the only network carrying
anything about this Fox News - go figure.
Well if Mr. Obama by some chance wins the election, God forbid, he will have done so in a
very dishonest and sorry way in my opinion. Not only is it inevitable that voter fraud will
happen since registration fraud has been so rampant but the majority of all media outlets
have lessened if not blotted out actions by himself and his campaign that would have killed John McCain's campaign like a pit bull clamped down on his prey with no letting go in sight.
I'm tired physically that's for sure but also tired psychologically of hearing about the Presidential
election, the economy, and most of all how Bush, and McCain are somehow responsible for
something that started when Bill Clinton was President. Yeah Bush's administration put
pressure on banks to approve high risk loans to minorities who did not have the income to
qualify!!! Yeah Bush said Fannie and Freddie were fine while taking kick backs from them!!!
Yeah Yeah - go sell your load of crap to someone with no brain because this ole fashion girl
ain't buying not for a minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Response
My old friend Jon brings up a point whether good or not I'm not too sure. His comment
listed the things women can do today that at one time in society we could not, this society
I mean. He said that whether we like it or not feminist paved our way.
My comments were about what feminism has become more than what it was. Feminism came
about because of the oppression of one sex and for that I am grateful! Even at its inception though there were major problems which is why is has only evolved to be even worse.
The today show did a series some years back on the "original feminist" and I won't even repeat
her name she was so evil. She was a terrible racist who believed all people of color should be
done away with and yet Katie Couric sung her praises during the 8'oclock hour on NBC.
Men lording over women and treating them as second class human beings was and is wrong
and all wrongs are eventually righted one way or the other, but in this case what needed to happen and what actually happened are in stark contrast. Equality doesn't mean superiority but feminism is rooted in this kind of thinking. Its like so many other wrongs that take place - I must use a baseball analogy for lack of deeper thoughts :) - the feminist was at bat and the crowd (or part of the crowd) wanted a homerun and she hit the ball out of the park and destroyed the glass facade of a building adjacent. That was corny to say the least but it has
no doubt gone too far. Equality yes, but male bashing, women rule crap, No!!!
Fortunately there are a great number of men who appreciate women for better and for worse.
Men who make us feel good about ourselves and what we bring to any given table and I
love those men. The question is is my friend Jon one of them.....yes I think so or else
we wouldn't be friends. :)

Feminism Exposed - Thanks Mrs. Palin
This morning while watching the news I was reminded of the many famous women putting their two cents in over the last several weeks regarding McCain's VP pick Sarah Palin. I've heard comments ranging from "I have nothing in common with this woman" & "I hope she doesn't get the job in November" to disrespectful sexist ones I will not repeat.
Wait a minute!!! A woman is poised to be the 2nd in command of the U.S. and pretty much the free world and feminist American women aren't leaping for joy and shouting from the rooftops of their glee at this amazing fact???? I am in such disbelief that these same women yearn for respect, admiration, even power and yet when one rises to this level in politics she is met with
disrespect, disloyalty, and dishonor by human beings who share the same sex as she.
Could it be that feminism is a ruse? Could it be true that this movement which began decades ago is a facade for what is actually a movement encouraging women to shirk their responsibilities and demonize and demean the opposite sex while manipulating aspects of their humanity that are distinctly female for their own personal gain? I know that Hugh Hefner has definitely been guilty of capitalizing on things distinctly female, but feminists??? Never!!! Right?????
Wrong. Here we have a woman who without foregoing a husband and family has become Governor of Alaska and stood strong in the face of opposition by the opposing party as well as her own! She displays the epitome of strength and character and yet because she is pro-life has been left out in the cold by modern day "so called" feminists.
I for one am very happy about this turn of events in American political culture. I am glad the lid has been stripped off of a huge lie that has permiated through the last 30 years of American life and left most average American women feeling as though they are wrong to love a man and crazier still have a baby with this man even if the circumstances aren't favorable.
I am in no way trying to belittle women who have made the choice not to have a baby. I have spoken with many women who felt trapped and abandoned at a very vulnerable time and my heart went out to them and still does. However listening to the rhetoric of the left feminists as they exploit women at their weakest point to further the cause of abortion will only confuse these women more as they try to make one of the most important decisions of their lives.
So I'll close this rant by saying thank you to Sarah Palin for exposing the lies that have been shoved down America's throat for so long now. Any intelligent woman can do the math and realize how hypocritical the idea is that "Yes we want women to destroy the glass ceiling and yes we long for the day women are in positions of power and authority" when the reality is these
people want that on their terms and those include a woman who is a so called liberal thinker and
who defends a woman's right to an abortion at any stage of pregnancy.
Thanks Sarah for helping me to see clearly that feminism only came about to further abortion not to further women's liberation. Thank you for liberating my thinking that a woman could never possibly rise to be President in this country when in fact I believe I will see it in my lifetime.
